PRODUCT FEATURES INDEX A - Z Air Injection Technology As one of the latest developments in showerhead technology, Danze Air Injection Technology infuses air into the water stream through our uniquely designed ball joint. These air-infused water droplets boost shower performance, increase velocity, water coverage and create a more soothing spray (no stinging) even at flow rates that are less than 2.5 gpm. More importantly, our Air Injection Technology can be combined with either our Pressure Manifold or Dual Valve capabilities to deliver the ultimate shower experience. Ceramic Disc Valve A valve controls the flow of water. It responds to the turn of a handle from on to off and off to on. Danze Ceramic Disc Valves are built using two ceramic disc plates that have been smoothed to perfection. This smooth finish creates a water tight seal between the two plates as they slide to and from the on/off position. Danze Ceramic Disc Valves are maintenance free and stand the test of time. Dual Valve Technology The engine behind most Danze multi-function showerheads and handshowers, our Dual Valve Technology, minimizes water pressure loss as settings change. Even at low pressures, our Dual Valve Technology optimizes water intensity so performance can't be compromised. Easy Glide Danze Easy Glide selector ring makes adjusting the showerhead spray settings easy and effortless and is available on most of our multi-function showerhead and handshower products. gpf Gallons per flush. gpm Gallons per minute. lpf Liters per flush. Laminar flow A type of flow that allows water to travel more smoothly or ribbon-like. Neoperl Neoperl provides high-quality products that shape and control water streams, meet flow rate regulations, protect from backflow and facilitate compliance with Codes and Standards. Neoperl is used in a variety of Danze products. Pressure Manifold Technology Pressure Manifold Technology, is the engine behind most of our single function showerheads. Danze Pressure Manifold Technology is ideal for low pressure and low flow rate environments, providing both wide coverage and a powerful spray. Quick Connect System An improvement to the "under the sink" installation process, the Danze Quick Connect System features a push-to-lock applicator which connects the faucet valve to the spout or spray hose. The system is easy to use, especially in difficult to access areas under the sink, and helps to greatly reduce installation time. Spring Retraction System The Danze engineered stainless steel spring retraction system found on our pull-out and pull-down kitchen faucets, is easy to install and allows the user to "take the water to work" with minimum effort. This system is designed to provide a smooth, effortless experience and allows the spray head to fit securely back into place. The Danze Commitment to Responsible Design Low-Lead Meets NSF / ANSI 372 NSF/ANSI 372 LEAD-FREE refers to <0.25% weighted average lead content in relation to wetted surface of pipe, fittings and fixtures in systems delivering water for human consumption. Danze lavatory, bar, and kitchen faucets comply with Section 1417 (a)(1) of Drinking Water Act by third party agency NSF. Universal Design Most Danze faucets and fixtures meet the ease of operation requirements set by the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). All Danze toilets are ergonomically designed at a level that makes sitting and standing more comfortable for any age group. WaterSense The EPA WaterSense program seeks to protect the future of our nation's water supply by offering a simple way to use less water with water-efficient products. Any product bearing the WaterSense label have been certified to be at least 20% more efficient without sacrificing performance. If one in every 10 American homes upgraded a full bathroom with WaterSense labeled fixtures, we could save about 74 billion gallons of water a year. CALGreen Code Danze continues its commitment to support water conservation efforts by working within the guidelines of the California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen Code). As mandated by law, California buildings must reduce the maximum flow of water by 20% on all plumbing fittings and fixtures.
